Does anyone know who manufactured the inkjet cartridges for Encad Novajet Pro 50 (300dpi)?

I am interested to see if I can question cartridge compatible inkjet for my large format plotter. I've seen the HP51626A touted as a replacement, but while physically the same size as the contacts on the back seems to be a mirror image Encad cartridge. The contacts do not line up.
